Lobby Desk Attendant/Admissions Cashier

•  Ability to Greet Visitors and large groups
• Operation of cash register
•  Accurate Money handling skills
• Willingness to be proactive and engage guests in conversation
• Willingness to do basic housekeeping of assigned area
• Able to learn and explain information about  Mud  Island River Park
• Handles guest comments, questions, and concerns
•  Answers informational calls
• Must be available to work weekdays, weekends, occasional evenings, and Holidays April - October

 Concession Associate 

• Cash Handling and Cash register experience
• Food handling and Prep experience
• Proactive and friendly attitude
• Ability to greet and assist customers
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Ability to sweep, mop, and perform housekeeping skills
• Ability to learn to operate concession equipment
• Able to assist in moving of stock  
• Must be able to work weekdays, weekends, occasional evenings and holidays April - October

• Conducts tours of the 18 gallery Mississippi River Museum
• Conducts 60 minute tours of the outdoor 5 block long Riverwalk model
• Able to learn and retain vast knowledge of the Mississippi River and the River Valley
• Can interact with both children and adults
• Able to speak to large groups
• Willing to become familiar with all aspects of the museum and park
• Strong Customer service skills
• Able to multi-task
• Must be able to work outdoors , able to stand and walk for long periods of time
• Able to work weekdays, weekends and holiday April - October

Monorail Attendant/Greeter

• Customer service skills
• Willing to learn the basics of the monorail operation and information about the park and its attractions
• Able to talk to large groups of people
• Requires light housekeeping, keeping areas clean
• Able to communicate safety information to guests
• Ability to walk, talk, and stand for long periods of time
• Must be able to work  outdoors
• Able to handle weather and temperature changes
• Willingness to interact with guests at all times with strong customer service skills
•  Good at staying alert and being observant
• Must be availabe to work weekdays, weekends and occasional evenings and holidays April - October 

Pedalboat Attendant

• Able to assist guest in loading and unloading safely in and out of pedalboats
• Able to handle, at times, large groups
• Able and enthusiastic to work outdoors
• Willingness to be proactive and engage guests in conversation
• Willingness to do basic housekeeping of assigned area and keep equipment in good,clean & working condition
• Understanding of water safety and safety conscious
• Ability to lift heavy objects
• Must be available to work weekends, occasional evenings, and holidays April - October

• Friendly and proactive at all times
• Continuous walking and standing
• Willingness to greet visitors and tell them about Mud Island River Park 
• Light Cleaning, sweeping, and restocking of merchandise 
• Keeping shop in top order at all times
• Cash register operation and accurate money handling experience
• Able to become familiar with products and assist guests with purchase selections
• Must be available to work weekdays, weekends and holidays April - October 

  Concessions Cook

    ♦Must have a good positive attitude and work well with others
    ♦Must have Food handling experience
    ♦Able to stand for long periods
    ♦Able to operate a fryer and griddle
    ♦Understanding of restaurant  food safety guidelines 
    ♦ Can Follow directions well
    ♦Can perform housekeeping duties and keep kitchen are clean 
    ♦Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
    ♦Must be available to work weekdays , weekends and holidays thru October 31st

Adventure Center Attendant

    ♦Basic knowledge on kayaking and canoeing
    ♦Basic knowledge on bicycling
    ♦Able to learn how to operate a pontoon boat
    ♦Operation of a cash register
    ♦Customer service skills
    ♦Willingness to work outdoors 
    ♦ Safety conscious
     ♦Able to carry heavy equipment 
    ♦Must be available to work weekdays weekends, occasional evenings, and holidays April - October
